I do know in the company I work for, Clydeunion, are very much involved in implementing new systems such as SAP and Intellquip systems in our organisation. These are being development by group of various engineers and software specialist and I think the demand for this sort of work may be high as there is a big push to have all of our facilities on same operating systems etc. I would suggest getting in touch with the HR department as they are constantly looking for people with various and they should be able to assist. Unsure of your background and skills, and also the jobs that may be unavailable I am unsure of how to help but a simple call or email might help you.

Aw that pain in the arse. It was so annoying we were working between lotus notes and microsoft outlook for ages there but the transition seems to have happened. Its just a pain in the arse the restrictions on files sizes you can send as when we send out tenders and proposals with data sheets and such like it can take a bit of space, but all in all its becoming useable now that all the archive mail has been passed over, I was sick of two emails programs and jumping between the two :damnfunny

No I don't deal with that. I deal with the Water and Industrial side of the business but mainly things in the desalination market. You would be looking to speak to the following gentleman:

William Harden

Engineering and Marketing Manager - Downhole Pump

0141 308 2139

w.harden@clydeunion.com

Trust this helps!

My experience lately is that sub contractors cost us time and money having to fix everything we get in. I don't understand why we don't go back to these folk and get them to fix it.

Example is the other day we went out to get a big adaptor plate manufactured. It came in and the idiots have drilled the holes on the top and bottom plate and then welded the connections. Guess what, now the motor and coupling are 5-10mm out from lining up. Another thing, there are 10 of these things and job is due out so really up sh*t creek. In here it would have been welded and drilled up afterwards and be right without all this time and money wasted.

Hahaha, I am sure your not like this in any way but some of the outside people haven't got a dan doo and really put us in the sh*t. :damnfunny
