i thought that would be about right.

with my basic mechanical skills do we think it would be possible for me to change them over myself?

might wait for a s&s before attempting the harnesses etc...

Ed, sure you want harnesses?
I know Robin ditched his and Ali I think uses his standard belts.
Quite cool for that racing driver feel/look ;) 8)

Ed,
They should be a doddle to change.

Seats are reasonably easy to change, even with the roof on (note, pax seat comes out of drivers door and vice versa).

Best to do the harnesses at the same time (you need the seats out anyway). I'm not sure how difficult the harness bar is...

I have harnesses and lap belts. Harness for track and occasionally on the road, lap belts for day to day.

Robin still has them last I heard.
I asked about them but not really compatible with my seats.

I think Dave Stanley is your man for info since I know he has just changed the seats in his Exige and regularly potters about with Harnesses

800ish quid was my guess too.

£800 quid is a lot of driver training which would very much reduce the possibility of pearshapeness happening in the first instance.

Would probably help your laptime be something less  too
