That's the Biggest difference between the two nations, I can remember slogan's for the world cup in France :-

thing is, england has been playing pish but we are still in it.

im happy that we have got as far as we have.

dont mind at all going out to decent team as long as its a good game.

Where as we get beat in the first two teams by the wee diddy teams and gub the groups big name on our way home.

Besides - there's a reason why Scotland never progresses past the 1st round - the host nations wouldn't have enough beer to cope if we stayed any longer.

i really hope france make it to the losers playoff or the final, as there'll be 40 lotus on track numpties in france that weekend, so should be a good piss up (like we need an excuse)

We had a great time one year during the world cup - me and a group of mates wearing the French football tops with our kilts walking through the streets singing La Marseillaise.
