Renting commercial proerty from the council?

Just wondered if any of the surveyory / lawyery types on here (or anyone else) have any info on renting commercial proerty from the council.

From what I gather, the unit I want is subject to a lease agreement that is available on an "offers over" basis, similar to buying a house.

However I have no idea where the offers will be pitched at over or under this figure or % wise, so if anyone knows the ins and outs or knows someone who does and can pass on info or my details pm me please.

Cheers,

JJ

I've never heard of that type, I just rent from the council an agreed monthly rental set by them, same as the other units around me.

Could you not phone the council and ask them, or contact a similar property and ask them how much they pay?

Sorry not much help, will let others better qualified help you.
