Hi everyone,

without going into it too much, the background is:
as a fair few will know from speaking to me recently/dukes pass bbq or facebook, my 6month niece is extremely unwell and had a bad turn last night and we are now in the situation where we are constantly on a knife edge as she needs a heart transplant and will need transferred to newcastle for once she is top of the list.

me and my dad had booked onto the VXR event at knockhill on wednesday the 16th (Wednesday before TT2010)
http://www.vxrpowerevents.co.uk/vxr-tra ... px#content

It is the morning session, which doesn't look very full so more track time.

Due to the current family crisis, I will still be going but my dad won't be able to now. I need to speak to the vxr folk and see if i can transfer it into someone elses name.

if i can is anyone wanting to take his place? it was £95 but he is happy to take £50 or so?

would be nice as it means i have some company, Corranga Chris is doing this in the afternoon session.

Cheers

Adam

Just noticed maybe i should have put this in classified, so if mods think its in the wrong place feel free to move it.

Hope everything turns out ok with your niece Adam. Must be a worrying time for all concerned.

Shame you can't make it, but family has to come first especially with something as serious as this!

Hope that your niece gets sorted out, both Erica and I have our fingers crossed, and that you can get your place sold on.

Best wishes to her.

Chris

so i'll still be about for a chit chat before your session but my old man won't be present.

Ah sorry, re-read a bit slower and that makes sense. All going well, we'll be in the green machine as we're off towards the midlands that night for my mates wedding at the weekend rather than heading back to Dundee just to leave on Thursday morning.

Sorry to hear things are not great with the baby.

Fingers crossed that things get sorted sooner than later.

Regards to you family.

Take care

+1 sorry hear to hear of your problems. I'm booked in with a mate on wednesday morning too, will be arriving in the subaru with a number plate very similar to my username  so feel free to say hello, probably make us out without too much hassle as we'll be the only pair of teuchters :thumbsup

An old wise monk from "Nitshill" once told me "Never let a "Failed Fitter" drive your car unsupervised on the A9.

cheers mate,

i'll keep an eye out, i'll be the young one (actually i'm guessing there will be a few of them)
i'll be in the astra (nope, pretty sure there'd be a few of them as well)

I'll have the red and black helmet that has HH09 sticker on the back, bingo that's unique

28 here. Are we still classed as young? ;)

Rusty, not sure if they'll let you use your own lid. I'll be using one of the horrid supplied things due to not being able to fit luggage and 2 lids in the Lotus!

i'll have my lid with me, if they don't let me use it i'll happily ask why as its been round KH lots with no issues.

Young as in 21, so a real youngster!

Well i will see Scoobyc (don't actually know your real name) nice and early tomorrow morning, then will try and bump into you before your session starts Chris,

Kat will be a spectator so i've told her if she sees the green s1 to go over and introduce herself.

will use this to update with pics and how it goes.
