Scottish Elises

OK the problem with the Elise is that it works too often and reliably (!) which is boring.

I've recently started looking (dreaming?) about an Esprit... plenty to keep me busy fixing
I'd want a pre-facelift turbo preferably but will consider anything.
It'll be on road exclusively (Another reason the Elise is underused) for fun and the odd commute

So budget would be £10k (Elise + cash) is this a viable option? Found a nice black turbo on Ebay...

Working cars are boring I like taking them to bits and fixing things. Even the Porsche passed it's MOT on Friday on the second attempt

I like fixing stuff. It doesn't always require fixing first though.... but it usually does shortly after I start 'investigating'...

LOVE them look and really fancied one

I just need to talk to a DIY inclined owner about how har to work on they are.
Not worried about time but parts availability, cost and special tooling could be a problem - looks like I'll need imperial spanners
I want one that isn't a total wreck, I'd like to improve things gradually while using the car rather than a restoration job.
