I like to help, so I don't really feel like this is justified as it gives me pleasure to help others ... but thank you all for the kind words!
Cheers,
Robin

I certainly can't dispute that Herr Iddon is a great help on all things vehicular, IT and maths I'd like to throw a sombrero into the ring for a little unsung hero:-
Ed
For his spaniel-like enthusiasm for helping others out, be that introducing himself on trackdays, ferrying things to and fro, ferrying people to and fro e.g. to CLCM to pick up or drop off cars, for subbing people (most notably Paine Snr) to ensure no one misses out and for providing paxes aplenty over the last five or so years.

Robin.
Again for his knowledge on almost anything, apart from maybe time travel and exceeding the speed of light, and the time he spends typing lengthy answers to anyone who has a problem or asks for advice. There are deserving others, but all round he has to be the one. Always willing to help anyone hands on, and puts others first often missing out himself.
I used to think he went away and looked up the answers, especially the Einstein level physics ones, but I have sat alongside him whilst he answered them live from the Mekon sized cranium. I have known him for eleven years, proud to do so, love him dearly as do the rest of the family, and could not imagine the Forum without him.
tut
ps add to that his generosity in needful times and unflappability.

Your not putting him up for Best Polisher then?
