Will looky in my collection, think I have a slipstreamed SP1 CD but SP2 might only be standalone on the disk.

Yup, that's right. You definitely need a disk with SP2 on it.
I recently installed Windows on my Mac (made me feel so dirty, but I need it for work!). I've got the XP SP2 disk, so if you don't get a copy, PM me your address and I'll post a copy to you.
Unless you're in the Glasgow area, in which case I could meet you to pass it on.
Oh, and a bit of advice . . . make the Windows partition FAT rather than NTFS otherwise you can't write to it from OS X. I really should have read the manual first. Stuck with an NTFS partition that I can read from OS X but can't write anything to it. Doh.
