Police called.........

.........at 0230 this morning. Just about to lay into them when they said it was from Middlesbrough nick. Seems that "someone I know" had been arrested for being drunk and disorderly, abused the bouncers so got knocked around a bit, then did the same with the police, so they banged him up.

Two more calls at 0400 and 0800, so a good night all round. Good job Verian is still in Rhodes.

ps what is it with this family? I have been a good dad, and an exemplary example. Eldest son is a DCI in the Met, Verian is an ex policewoman, I held Superintendent rank, at least some of it has rubbed off on Clare.

Why is it arguing with bouncers seems like a good idea when you're pissed?

Ach, well, it'll learn him.

Just to make it clear it wasn't me. You going to come down and post bail?

He wasn't charged, they let him out at 0900 to go to College. Said he seemed a decent lad, just needs to learn to keep his mouth shut.

That'll learn him mate - nowt you can do about it. No idea how I'll react if my nipper gets in to some of the scrapes I did as a lad.

Just to point out this is not me he is speaking about. I never have the police round at the door. Also there has never been a late night call from the police on my behalf. Cough cough.

Now to pick pieces in Dad calling himself an exemplary example. Do we really need to get started on stories of Interpol visiting, or countless reports of your driving resulting in a never ending stream of police visits.

Not only that but how about a visit that will possibly be coming up due to you beating up a drunk who was trying to have breakfast.

Only joking, I feel I deserve a little credit though. I don't often get into trouble and when I have it hasn't really been my wrong doing. Just the fact that I stood up for myself against lives bullies and happened to win which they just are not used to. The youngest of the sons is a fairly large idiot whose mouth runs away with him which isn't a good thing seeing as he is incapable of defending himself if things turn nasty. I can vouch that he can take one hell of a beating though.

Anyway Dad, things have not rubbed off on Clare, you just don't hear the stories, like the little scuffle she got into when she was out for freshers week in Aberdeen. That could well have seen her into a cell for the night. Oh how I love to spread good news. :thumbsup

Work is finished, home time!

:cheers

Shocker that my dilemma made it on to SE. Got to say though that this time Ian and my Dad saved me with the whole "mixed up wallets" problem. I should learn but that is the second time I've been man handled in that place...bouncer there have issues and I don't think that it is me?

Ah yes, forgot to mention that the 0400 call was asking me why you had Ian's driving licence, bank card and AA card.

Bollocks Ian, I was woken up in the early hours of the morning by the sergeant at Liverpool police station when you went down for the Grand National, and decided to take out the DJ cos he would not play your song, then try and take the bouncers on as well. At least he did not have to pay a fine, so he is one up.

Twas not Clare's fault, a fat slapper trod on her foot

This thread reminds me of
All in the Family / Archie Bunker :damnfunny :damnfunny

I've spent more time in the company fuzz in the last two months than the last twenty years.......just today I had to nip into Fettes Av, then on the way out leaving there was about a dozen traffic cops faffing about on the side of the road practicing with a speed gun........ zapping at cars coming, going, parked.. . I can't understand why I pulled out and went the opposit direction.........
