Bad timing , my ISP( E7even) went bust last year and I have just signed up for 12 months with their replacement company . I have discovered the hard way cheapest is not always best when it comes to ISP's . Sky should be ok I as its a large outfit.

So do I, Sky bought Easynet to do this a very very very good business ISP. Shame they are going to destroy that name.

Guys, anyone had any experience with Pipex Homecall - The house we are buying is B listed so cant have Sky, no Cable in the area, and the women selling has the above in already - owned by the Caudwell group, and as far as I remember Pipex seem to get good reviews?!

I used Pipex until I moved last year. Service was very good but they were more expensive than others, that's the only reason I switched.

I used to use Pipex also. The customer service was cronic and I ultimately found out that they hadn't upgraded me and were still charging £24 for 1Mbps.
Now binned them for Newnet on that flexi 8Mbps thingy (can't remember the proper term). Cheaper at £17 but very inconsistent with speeds never over 2Mbps and often around 1Mbps. Also frequent diso's in the evening.
When I can be @rsed, I'll be looking around for something else.
My bro' recently went with BT. As a matter of principal I have avoided them, but he has had great service and very fast speeds for the same money more or less.
Gmail account takes care of email now allowing me the freedom move on a whim.
