Tyres...

Post by Sassy » Thu Jul 20, 2006 10:20 am

Right, sorry for being a total bird, but I believe someone on here had sourced rear tyres outwith Murrays?

My dad's company can usually get any tyres at cost, but not these ones as I'm sure you'll know Lotus restrict them to dealer only.

So where else can you get them? Ours are on their way out at 3000 miles...

Way cheaper than MMC...alternatively switch to Toyo R888's if you are not going to be on track much. Far cheaper and although not ultimately as grippy, you'll only really appreciate the extra grip thrashing it on track.

Oooh, fab, thanks everyone...

Will forward details on to my bro and see which ones he wants to go for but have a feeling he'll stick with the yokohamas.

You can try wheels around - bit of a trek but they can get the 48's as fitted to your exige - not in the LTS compound but they know which grade to get for a very close match.
