15 months ouch
For normal garages I'd say that was a record, but for this one... Average waiting time
Good luck!

When I was trying to get my starter motor replaced on my K series S2 it was nothing short of a nightmare trying to get hold of Ali. I also enquired several times via email about upgrades with zero response. He is either very busy and doesn't need the business or is an admin disaster  If it wasn't for the loyal Lotus customer base he'd be out of business for sure.

Sorry, but I find it hard to believe the story that Ali would be sitting with a car for 15 months whilst the owner constantly tries to get hold of him and wants it back with no luck. I don't think we've been given all the facts here, but personally I'm not really interested anyway.

We all know he's not the best at admin or timekeeping, but I've never had any trouble getting him on the phone within a couple of attempts.

There are plenty of people who are satisfied enough with the service they get. It may not be perfect, but no garage is imho. Just wanted to point that out since we appear to be having yet another Ali-Bashing thread.

:cheers

It's not an Ali bashing thread at all, merely an enquiry as to if anyone knew his whereabouts as I had not been able to get hold of him..

And no-where does anyone say that it's gone 15 months with no contact, we have been in constant contact, until the last few weeks..

Last time I asked a similar question a mod deleted the thread?!

I struggle to remember that? I remember a thread about paperwork which turned into a fairly heated discussion - but that wasn't even locked?

In fact, we keep a log of anything like a locked thread and I can't remember the mods ever deleting a thread that wasn't spam - care to elaborate when it was?
