Indeed. My money's on it being RWD - no idea of the weight though I'm guessing not much more than the US spec Elise.

Kidding, right? Surely the whole problem with electric cars is battery mass and weight - if they're going for 250 mile range and lots of power, the battery packs must be quite a size (and weight)The_Rossatron wrote:Indeed. Good point I was thinking mainly about the motor - but 248hp and 0 -60 in 4 secs it cant be 2 tonnes or anything?Shug wrote:Kidding, right? That's estimated (random number generator) with all the torque at 0rpm, you might be surprised how quick it could accelerate with a lot of weight. No need to slip clutches or change gears.....The_Rossatron wrote:Good point I was thinking mainly about the motor - but 248hp and 0 -60 in 4 secs it cant be 2 tonnes or anything?Shug wrote:Kidding, right? I'd bet at around 1.5 tonnes.... rough guess from gut feeling.
