what's 1600 pounds?? - about 700kg????

now i'll believe that when i see it! - but if they DO manage it, it'll put lotus to shame for bringing out lardier and lardier cars. -- then perhaps they'll go back to S1 weights.........

If the handling is anything like the TT's then Lotus wont have much to worry about.

If it has the Golf GTI engine in it as suggested, it should do 60 in the high 4's!

I have to say I'd buy one if they handled and cost about the same as a spec'd Elise.

Which, being an Audi, it won't. They've done the whole light car before with the A2. Ok, so it wasn't a sports car but it was expensive and a bit crap so I'd expect this to fulfill at least one of those 2 criteria again.

While we're on the subject of quite liking Audi's - the new TT is quite impressive at 80kgs lighter than it's predecessor and much better looking!

As for this cool concept - that image has a high photoshop content and would be interesting to see if it actually makes production. Would be nice though!
