The new official store for Lotus goes on-line 29th January.
I've seen the majority of the items available already at the Paris Motor Show and they are indeed quality, however, they probably will be £££.

I've cheekily enquired too via Jaime Osborne at Lotus
Here's hoping Grame.
I internally gasped as Miss Becker told me a waterproof jacket I was looking at would be around £300!

I guess Lotus really are aiming for the high end market - much as I would like to, I wont be buying any Lotus Originals in the near future.
I don't think much of the Originals or Heritage ranges but some of the accessories are good and the the Performance range looks really

but £138 for a polo shirt and £525 for a jacket !!
Keyring £88
I think you need to have a good customer base in the high end cars before you can start shifting stock at that price - I just don't see where the market is for it - cart before the horse me-thinks.
I wonder how long it is before they start discounting to get some sales.

lol £88 keyring!!! haahha mental.
the bags are a grand!! lol
crazy prices...
when i crashed my elise and it got recovered to a garage, i left the main keys with them - on my Lotus keyring. Went to get it back and it was gone! Someone took it... so I argued with the manager for him to get me it back - "what, ur 2 bob key ring?!".
I knew my car was dead, and i wanted something to remember it by - so yes!! got it back, the person who took it handed it in. sentimental value.
but. now... i could say its about 100 quid!! lol...

As there is a factory tie in it could well be. In a way they might get away with it for F1 merchandise as there IS a market for that with general racing fans and the Lotus heritage coming back - and some of the other teams have expensive gear too (although still not as costly as the Lotus Originals) so the bar has been set.
