Well, I suppose any torsional ridgidity the Esprit has is from the backbone chassis, so shouldn't suffer as much as a monocoque car being chopped...

Still fugly though..... :(

I would like to say it looks good with the roof down, but I would be lying.

Lets see, the roof on my 97 S1 is like an old tent, what's it going to be like on a eldery 1982 Esprit, one of only 5 built?

It's raining, give me an hour and I'll get the roof out of the boot....

Same as fitted to your landie, keeps the rain out when stopped in traffic. Anway you can be quiet with your hard top.... I bet the tops don't even come off your doors! and you have a fuel tank fitted....

When it rains I can't use the windscreen wipers on the Landie as it blows the (Only) fuse as the motors fill up with water....
