Not necessarily the highest miles, but hasn't one of Tut's Elises done way over 100,000
Surely that classifies as cruelty to Lotus? :blackeye

My racecar had done 98,000 when I bought it. It was registered in '95 though so one of the first S1s.

Stu, the developer on SELOC has done well over 200,000 in his S1.

Which Rover had a Honda engine?

I thought the Rovers all had K series (1.4, 1.6) and the Honda's had a Honda engine (1.5)

Nice one _ali !

I thought UJI was doing well at 91,500 and climbing. In its favour...

It occurred to me that it may just make 100k miles in my possession!

It has also done more miles than any car I've ever owned. I've also owned it longer than any other car, at 11.5 years (previous record was 6 years for our Golf, or about 3 years for nearly every other car I've owned on my own).

As for hardest life, well, UJI has hardly been garage jewellery, but nor has it been cossetted or only allowed out "on dry days".

But I know when I'm beat ;-)
