How about this for a plan....

Post by Rich H » Wed Aug 02, 2006 10:11 am

Ladies and Gents,

I have another idea that may appeal....

How about replacing all 4 lights at the rear with clear lenses and combining all of your lighing into them...

You would then have 2 pairs of indicators, brake and tail lights, then a pair of reverse lights and a pair of Fogs. Then bit those nasty reverse / fog lamps

The colour would have to come from the bulb but that shouldn't be too hard to do. Obviousy the interior of the lamps will need some alterations.

Just a thought

Would anyone care?

My old 406 had Fog lights in the clusters, the Liz is already pretty low.

Clear indicator covers are avaialble and would do the trick I reckon.

SVA apparently requires either 100 mm from Stop lamp unless in cluster and min 250 mm from the ground. Liz must be lower than this already. It only has to pass an MOT....

also the wee problem of indicating whilst your lights are on? Or indicating and braking? Or have I completely missed the point? :)

Fair point, but if split within the light to make a mini cluster? Not much point then I suppose. Just a thought...
