Just to let you all know I'm going flying in one of our sh*t-boxes tomorrow.
I'll probably be sick as a dog but I don't care. Mach 1 here we come....

Yep, we threw one away about a year back. But that was another squadron.
The only bags I will have will be sickbags (x4) and you don't want see through sick bags do you....
It has taken 5 hours or so over the last 2 days to get ready for 1 hour long flight including medicals and a hole new natty outfit including helmet and g-pants....

Rich, is it impossible for a member of the public to have a flight in a fighter jet?
I have a friend who is a pilot for BA but he somehow managed to go in a flighter as his friend was a pilot for the RAF.
It's my dream job - too late now but I would die a happy man having been in one....

If you watch STV there is an advert for a flight for a deserving cause... The flight is during the airshow. Basically you need a really good excuse for a trip, an RBS bigwig got one after a hefty charitable donation, but that was extremely well documented as you cannot buy a flight
I'm sure it will be rubbish

Oh god no, I'm a ginger

I leave the flying to those best suited for it
Know too much about aircraft now, especially the guys that fix them.
Shall we just say I have 110 techies and they are a full cross section of male society with about 10 females thrown in for good luck...
Not nervous about flying tomorrow. Not yet.
