Scottish Italian car and bike day 14th August hopetoun house

Post by Modena Scotland » Wed Aug 10, 2011 6:57 pm

A friend of mine, Paul, is organising the Scottish Italian car and bike day again on 14th August at hopetoun house (10:30-15:00)

Should be a good day out for car/bike lovers.

If you'd like to display your Italian car or bike, please contact Paul at psantoni@btinternet.com

Hope to see many SEers there!

Cheers

Went to this last year, fantastic day out, whole family loved it and awesome to see and hear the Zonda F and Enzo!

Highly recommended! :thumbsup

There was an Abarth section last year... that bit was organised by Springburn Arnold Clark. Not sure they are organising anything this year though as the girl who used to be the Abarth specialist from that dealers is on maternity leave, so isn't as active on the Abarth forum.

Was worth going just for the steak sandwich from one of the catering vans

Wish she'd hurry up & get back from her leave though, coz she also used to organize runs, events at Doune hillclimb & Knockhill etc etc.

The stone baked pizzas are superb!

Aventador will be there along with plenty other tasty italian metal/fibre. Everything from Abarth to Alfettas to Agustas. :thumbsup

Sadly we'll miss this,... AGAIN!!!... however, as we'll be missing it due to being in Italy, I have organised to go on a factory tour of Pagani, and a trip to Ferrari and Lamborghini... I guess that may go part of the way to making up for missing the Hopetoun House day.
