EJ provides an alternative, always controversial, opinion to get the debate going and has all the contacts (got Lauda animated in the post-race debate).

I really liked Lauda's reply, really well put and quite neutral and naturally you respect anything from him. I just cant seem to find any respect for EJ, in my eyes he just sees this as a business and anything controversial he seems to jump on it. Coultard too gives a neutral POV where as EJ just wants too stir. He really pissed me off today and I hadnt had a chance to vent (in all honesty he gets to me at every race and today was a little worse)

We lost a bit of interest when Hamilton went out, but it was a good race. The ideal scenario is to have the F1 on the TV, but also to have it on the laptop and select drivers view. Mostly Webber today, but if you have driven Spa then you see it from the drivers seat, whereas the TV pics are often from the opposite direction and difficult to relate to.

It was later on mate when seeing the interviews. Don't get me wrong I used to like him when he ran a team but now it's all he goes on about, that and argue with dc.
Was a good race though, button did well. Something about coming from the back he's very good at, same for schuey

Eddie is good tv he always takes an obtuse view and if he gets people debating on here then what is he doing wrong other than promoting and getting people talking about lets be honest was untill recently about as watchable as paint drying, Lauda thinks before he speaks JB is like a puppy just so exicited, LH reminds me of colin chapman he is only the opposite as he expects the car to fall apart due to his driving not its build quality

I like Eddie, he keeps it interesting, and if nothing else, isn't scared to ask the questions you want someone to ask!

McLaren need a wing mirror upgrade, Lewis obviously doesn't use his, and I reckon JB lost one in the race too.

Was great to watch both JB and MS coming back from behind, wish i'd had the computer showing onboard with MS for the race actually.

Worst parts for me were Vettel winning again, and the Ferrari performance (or lack of) on the harder compound, so no different to any other race this year there :/

Hamilton admitted afterwards that it was his own fault, that was also Lauda's view, but DC saw it the other way.

EJ is a massive, egotistical bellend that is almost always embarrasing to watch but despite that he also has a knack of just being able to wander into areas others dont seem to have access to and grab the people we want to hear from. He also asks the sort of questions that others shy away from eg "Are you sure you're not just a big lying bast**d Christian?"

For that reason I would keep him on the team.
