If you are sick of the NIMBYs trying to force you to sit in the dyce traffic then see below
Charles Innes (of Innes Associates)has instigated a petition to try to stop Roadsense going to further appeal. We know that the vast majority of members of the Chamber support the AWPR. You can support the petition at:
http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/roa ... sense.html
Charles writes:
“I have instigated this petition to try and demonstrate to the objectors that this ridiculous situation has gone on long enough and it is time for them to back down and let us get on with building the much-needed route. Like many other small business owners and concerned citizens, I am angry and frustrated by the continual delays to a major piece of infrastructure that will unlock significant road and public transport improvements. It was time for me to take a stand and I hope many others will join me.”

Done. The new road will make my regular trips to & from the heliport much easier, especially during the hell of a rush hour.

LOL. I defy even you to find something enjoyable about Anderson Drive at 8am on a Monday or 4pm on a Friday!
As a former inmate of Aberdeen, I find it incredible that this road wasn't built 10 years ago...or more.
Laughably, of course, I can still remember sections of single carriageway (yes, young bucks, SINGLE) on the A90 from all those years ago. How time flies.
The protesters could turn their attention to the small-nation-sized windfarm which I now realise with dismay is desecrating the gateway to the central lowlands at Beattock Summit. Some of it is even visible from the A701, IIRC. Apologies for thread drift but there seem to be some quality activists on this one

If these stupid protestors took their heads out of the sand, they will see its costing the taxpayer more and more the longer they delay it.
The sooner the bypass goes in the better for me as it will take me from Balmedie to school in Cults, Milltimber and Culter in no time at all. At the moment I have to leave 2 hours before school starts to miss the traffic so I get there on time!

Pain in the bloomin' ass.
