Scottish Elises

Does anybody know or can recommend a barrister, that is approachable and reasonable in the wonga dpartment? I have an action raised against me at the court of session in Edinburgh (no it wasnt a bank job!!) and have just found out that my family solicitor cant represent me, it has to be a barrister. Seemingly they charge more per hour than I earn in a year!!! Any help much appreciated
