Tyres - AD07s for the S1

Post by simon » Mon Aug 21, 2006 10:51 pm

It appears the Yokohama Advan AD07s that I have on my road wheels are now available for the S1. I can't compare them to the other S1 Advans but I really like these tyres and found them great at East Fortune. Maybe worth a look for anyone with an S1 in need of new boots.

Actually, it looks like the pistonheads article is a lot of bollocks and confuses you by showing a picture of the AD07s but I think they're on about the C.Drive, which I know nothing about.

£394 + fitting from MMC with the SE 10% discount.
I don't know if they'll fit the OZs G or if there's a wider one that will fit.

Bell & colvill offer forged wheels for the Exige with AD07's already fitted...

http://www.bell-colvill.co.uk/LotusShop ... LOTAC05442

...but also advertise them separate saying not for Exige :?

http://www.bell-colvill.co.uk/LotusShop ... sp?Id=AD07

So still confused, seem to only be available as 175 front which I think is too narrow for a 6j wheel.

175 is too narrow, built in understeer.
