UK dealer's main problem at this of year is getting enough 1.8 Lotus stock to keep up with demand....most will have a Spring waiting list for certain used cars, I always did

 yip took me a while to understand how helpful chatting to Brandon and yourself can be in this market place.

Is the ethos at lotus to limit production runs by design in order to maintain used prices ? ... or is there no logic in that when an organisation simply wants to shift new vehicles ideally ? ... (completely understand if you cant reply to these points).

You really can't dictate what the market will seize onto as a great used car, other than making the new one as good as you can - as we always strive for - look at 340Rs & Mk1 Exige, they were VERY hard work for me in 2000-2002, then they went nuts, and are now worth 30% more than 6 years ago. 1.8 NA Exige still selling for £20k now - for cars that were £34k at list price in 2005....that's a residual of 59% over 7 years, not many doing that

For every two tricky retail deals, there is one that's slightly more straightforward due to high levels of customer demand

Nothing bad happened at Zandy...just that's where Greg first saw it.
Give Brandon a call, might not be gone.

Snooze you loose!
