It actually is, a 340hp Elise with a different boot lid.
Wonder if the soft top is the same as the S2?

No it's an Elige.
As I understand it the softtop is more or less the S2 soft top.
I like it.

I like it

. Who would have thought it - a factory Elise with knocking on 3 times the power of the original S1. Are they still calling it an Exige

It is exactly the same as an Elise S2.
Basically the new Exige S is an Elise S2 from the engine forward. Unlike the old Exige, no modifications are required to remove the roof panel and replace with a soft top.
It was at MMC a few weeks ago and I am sure it a soft top roof is on the options list.
For those of you on TLF, Bibs will be at the press launch and news will be posted on thelotusforums.com as soon as the "roof is blown off".

That's a superb exterior colour under those lighting conditions (inside is too light for my taste).

Probably get a

for this , but if it can be specced with a reasonably comfortable well equipped interior, an Evora might not be my next Lotus after all.
I know the stripped out race spec interior suits many but for the money I want an everyday useable car with a hint of luxury and toys
There- I've said it - getting old faction , and no way other half will sanction a big spend on a stripped out racer.
