Don't know if this has been posted already, and didn't know he had bought one.

Looks quite nice, but a bit expensive compared to some of the others out there!

That interior is vomit inducing.

Painting a 288GTO white is unforgivable. He's got a good taste in cars, but a poor taste in what he then does to them...

Not sure about that to be honest. I read Classic and Sports Car and Octane most months and they feature many many refurbs of top end metal and quite often the latest owner's focus is on getting it back to its original condition and very often the original colour. It's always been traditional to change the colours of exotics as the owners see fit - it's only paint. If Chris Evans wanted a white GTO, why not? If you can afford to buy a 288GTO et al, you can afford to have it changed back again to rosso

I see your point but it removes the originality of such a relatively rare classic.

The fact that it is a one off that has the provenance of Chris Evans name on the V5 means it isn't going to be priced as a normal Evora and will probably always command a premium.
Sure there will be a Freddie Mercury or Chris Evans fan out there with a fat wallet

Oh and meant to say - although I don't agree with his painting his collection white, I do actually really like him in general - his radio show is proof that Moyles is an annoying scrote...

...but that picture of him in the link isn't very handsome  :damnfunny

White ferraris are wrong. He re-trimmed the interior of them all in blue leather too - can you imagine a white F40 with a blue leather interior? Pass the bowl.

My humblest view on these things is that if you can afford them, well done you, but they're not "yours." You're just the next keeper and what made the car special to you (e.g. originality) must be preserved for the future. Otherwise its just a shell

With the exception of the honda NSX R and 911 GT3 RS I think all white cars are wrong :)

Where do you draw that line though?
Fiat Dino?
Mk1 Escort RS?
Ford Model T?
Exige S1?
308 Gt4 Dino?
Lancia Stratos?
Veyron?
...

I draw the line when a car has got to the stage when only a privileged few can afford them and there ain't that many left.

Like I say, just IMHO - perfectly content for people to hit me with the, "you buy it, you do what you want ith it," argument :)

Indeed. The term "temporary custodian" springs to mind :thumbsup
