I went for a 20 mile blast on Wednesday night just to charge the battery a bit

I had to drive the car almost everyday, as I have a damned battery drain that we can not trace.
I then started putting the battery charger on each night, but my bonnet is a bad fit, and the release is almost impossible to pull.
I have now run two wires from the battery with terminals on the end that stick an inch out from the edge of the bonnet, so that I can now attach the crocodile clips from the charger to with ease.

A couple of these through the wheel arch liner should do the trick a bit more subtle....

Or you could just remove half the gel coat from the clam
