They are intended to be virals - hence the cheeseness of them.

Utterly shameful.
Better off giving the oppertunity to some Brit design students to make the vid. Could have had something like the Guy Ritchie M5 ad.

Have to agree.
Lotus may think that it is clever, but it is pretty crass.
They should really talk to the Agencies responsible for Guiness, Honda and Carlsberg ads, and not embarrass us poor Elise/Exige owners.

I was just about to say that I must have words with Nick Adams about the adverts, and there is Nick actually in the bloody advert.
Nick is now Head of Enginering at Lotus, and those of you who came to tuttowers 2002 would have met him, as he drove up in an S2.
Really good bloke and a useful driver, he races a Lotus Elan down south, and entertained us at tt in the early hours of the morning about off limits Lotus plans.
