Finally stopped sulking......

Right, so I've been having a bit of a sulk lately as the car's broken  , but also I'm now a STUDENT yes you read it right. Means I've left my job, which Ed now does, so I don't spend endless hours in front of a computer doing nothing anymore and so can't maintain the ridiculous level of pish i've been posting (about 7.6 posts a day = 1200 posts and i only joined in March this year).

so, after not being online for about three weeks, there are three pages of posts alone to read just in General and I can't read it all. Have I missed anything important anyone??? :? :?

Thanks to all the kind people who offered to help me fix my car. Hopefully Robin and I will be able to sort it at the spanners on Sunday :D :D

Anyone manage to get my spot at the SIDC day?? Hope it was a good one.

See you all(whoever's there) on Sunday.

Cheers,

Tom.

Still drivable ish. Very noisy and very hot. Drove up from Essex in heavy traffic/rain. Roof on, boiling to death(zaust blowing at my arse) and enjoying the exhaust fumes :puke . Was totally fed up after 7 hours, hence the tantrums etc....

Robin can sort out anything Tom, and if he can not, Obi, Stu, Mac, FD and the rest of the wizards are around.

Apologies for the amount on General, but somebody said that I was letting the side down.

What are you studying, and why the sudden change in direction?

I was one of them on 3 seperate occasions. Great hours, poor pay. Loved it and might even go back for a 4th time.

Paying for a bottle of milk with Swtich is always a classic. Normally for breakfast at 1 in the afternoon....

Will be looking for tips for Clare in two weeks time, ie how to hang onto my Elise fund, and not subsidise her debauchery through Uni, which is probably how you lot went through.

I had £2k from the RAF (Thanks again tax payers!) a grant of £1700 and an overdraft of £1500. That paid for just about everything without working a single day. I had no fees to pay though.

Drank 4-5 times a week, utterly pissed every weekend, clubbing and debauchery were standard. Manchester was great!

If my son Ian went through the Scholarship route, the RAF will now pay £4,000 per year as an engineer, or £2,000 as a pilot.

He has just started his sixth year, but the plan is that he will go down to Cranwell around April next year to go through the four day Officer Aircrew assessment course.
