Woofy goes walking with a professional dog walker two days a week (we're out all day on those days so it's nice for her to spend the whole day with other dogs). He has a Malamute as his own dog which he uses to keep all the other dogs in check. Very calm and surprisingly tolerant and gentle dog - especially as when he took the dog on it's because the previous owner had problems with the dog being aggressive. They do make a mess though as the fur falls out all the time and sticks to any fabric, pretty much. If I pat him with my gloves on I need to spend 10 minutes with the sticky tape removing the hair afterwards They are intimidating to look at though - probably less so in Canada where they may be more prevalent?
