Just looked over onto selc*ck, read 1 post regarding someone driving a F40. Read some of the responses, and my blood pressure is about to blow through the roof! Had to haul my mouse away from the reply button to remind the individual what utter w@nk he was spouting.
/removes from favourites.
I only have myself to blame.....

Read the F40 story.
Is there such a thing as a Ferrari with a carbon fibre chassis?

When I got in last night, I composed an amusing rant, a parody of the post in question.
Thankfully (or otherwise depending on how sadistic you are!) my pc crashed when I was trying to post. Probably for the best

Yes, lot of shyte spoken. My one issue with his test was whether the F40 had 2 stage turbos?
I know there are 2 - but one for each bank. You don't get one bank spinning up followed by the other - they both spool (slowly) at the same time.....
He may have been inventing it in his head, as it came on cam with the turbos up to speed (shove 1 = turbos spooling, shove 2 = coming on cam)
Absolute hero car though and I'd have one if it meant selling my arse to Ed.....

a point heroically lost by those on Selc*ck striving for 1-upmanship.

The thread went something like this -
Guy tests it, loves it, says he`s going to buy one. Respect.
Someone tells them its a bit pish / something else is faster.
Hints of jealousy / snideyness / throughout rest of thread.
If anyone came on here saying they were selling their elise to buy an F40 I`d not doubt them, I`d applaud them (unless it was G

)

Just had one of my occasional visits, but there are so many threads and posts I just can not be bothered getting into it.
Used to use the Lotus BBS in past years, but that got too big, with even more rubbish posted.
