Re: Christmas presents - ideas
Bought my wife a large 30cm frying pan as that is what she said she wanted last weekend when there was not enough room in the present pan for all the bacon required by children and their girl/boy friends surfacing at noon
Strangely enough when the pan was delivered it had a dent in it and all of the wags I work with suggest this has been put there in advance of it being wrapped around my head come Xmas morn. I think not. I only give my wife her pressies after the dinner, when she has consumed bubbly, wine and Baileys. No way will she be disappointed and even if she were, there is no way her aim would be that good by then..... So it is going back to be replaced by one with no dent

PS. I have bought her other gifts.
PPS Jamies 15 minute meals and one of his infernal food processor things.

Sanjoy, sometimes I think you trawl through the oldest posts on the board to find something you can bump!

Did everyone miss this?rossybee wrote:Tell me about it! Nothing worse than being caught out on sheep country without a set of willies - id imagine that petrol station sells quite a high volume of them...

I have no imagination and just carpet bomb the extended family with the 29.99 7" Fire HD tablets from Amazon (albeit with advert version) , never seen them so cheap and in a variety of colours (although was limited to 2 per colour per account). ps they seem to be £50 again.
