Scottish Elises

So I was at MMC today with my other younger brother Asad to pick up his new MY13 Elise S. He's totally chuffed with the car having moved from a 1.4 TDI Seat Ibiza Ecomotive to such a focused car. I also had a quick spin in the car this afternoon but wasn't able to strech its legs properly given we couldn't take it past 4500rpm but it feels like such an effortless car to drive and handles beautifully, I can't help but think this car has been over shadowed by the new Exige.

If you're thinking of buying one I'd highly recommend test driving it.

Youngest: 2011 Elise 1.6
Asad: 2013 Elise S
Me: Exige V6 soon, with a surprise at the end of the week, watch this space.
Older bro: now feeling left out and is eyeing up the Evora

Anyone who has driven the old SC knows what an epic car it is, and I know this one is even better!

I was in at MMC on Saturday and saw this parked round the back. Looked very nice - the interior helped me make a decision myself. Presumably it also came with a soft top??

Need to get myself to the track first, now that there are three of us we'll probably organise to go together one day soon.

Yep soft top too. The interior is nice "Brandon Spec" so a nice touch with the lotus emblems on the headrests. Unfortunately my Exige build was locked down a few weeks ago when I tried to add contrast yellow stitching. Maybe I'll swap the seats around when Asad isn't looking.
