This may be an unjustified gripe and down to my own naivety so I'll hold fire having a go until I get a few replies:
I just phoned MMC to check delivery date of my Elise and bring it forward by a day if possible. I was greeted with a "cannot guarantee delivery dates, it could be a week before or a week after, it's a hand built car made to order etc. etc.â€
