Anyone ever lived in Guildford?

Post by Scottd » Wed Sep 13, 2006 5:37 pm

Just found out today... looks like I'm gonna be working down there for the next 3 months
The company I work for has just out sourced 5 of us to work for EA down there, I could be going as soon as Monday! Fook. Don't know if I'm happy or sad about it lol. Anyone been there, is it any good?

Is it worth taking the car? They'll be paying for transport obviously so don't know if it'll be worth it.

Not a bad place to lie, lots of people live there and commute to London.

You have some good driving roads down there like th A26 etc, nothign on Scotland but hey.

You also have London on your door step which is a bonus.

It is hotter, much hotter.

The IRA bombed it.

used to be donw there for meetings every month.

Actually quite a nice place to live, but social life was a bit restricted, but that was nearly 10 years ago. Warmer, quite near Heathrow and there are some good back roads in Surrey, but they are pretty busy.

Used to be good for the ladies, so look forward to hearing a current report
