Tarbert Seafood Festival

Post by highlander » Sun Jul 07, 2013 11:47 pm

Just back from the above and what a great weekend we had, obviously the weather played a part in that, but Tarbert always gives up a good weekend. We used to go down there on the bikes and pubs are busy and good craic....more so when something's on.
Found a B&B that we'll use again so that's a bonus also.
Up on Sat morning and back Sun afternoon....all roof off and looking the worse for that....reckon by tomorrow night I'll look like a crumpled Sainsburys carrier bag...at least from the neck up!! Wondering now what we should do for travelling on the continent next summer if we're not to get major sunstroke.

Sounds good - I've always fancied doing a distillery tour with my other half but it's finding a decent place to stay!

Yeah, accom can be a bit hit/miss especially with B&B.....takes a wee bit of Internet time but worth it if you're staying several nights in 1 place.
