If I was fortunate enough to be able to afford it this would be my ideal S1 build.
Car:
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... 99/1509743
Engine:
http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... =7&t=36754
Add nitron shocks, harness bar, harnesses ( in blue obviously), mono steering wheel and upgrade brakes and this would be my dream S1 build.
What would be yours?

My fantasy S1 build is in progress

it could still be a while yet before the fantasy is achieved though

Mine would be, er, mine, with...
Chrome orange paint
black diffuser
gunmetal alloys (Victory perhaps, or Rotas, or just the late S1 style TBH)
blue roof
blue alcantara seats and siderail kickplates
iPhone-ready head unit
backlit heater controls
integrated trickle charger connector
fresh block with DVA oil rail mods or whatever
same head and cams
all wishbones refreshed
lightly smoked headlamp covers
A cool few £k but well worth it. One day. IMHO.

What would the cost be to put the engine in that car?

For me it would look something like ...........
S1 Exige
Audi 2ltr compound charged
Sequential gearbox, EP or Sadev with geartonics kit
Enormous brakes, because it'll need them
Lots of carbon fiberand no paint (why would you paint a carbon fiber body)
mmmmm, might do that next, Craig how much you selling your car for?

Good point. Problem is I have no idea when it comes to putting a engine in a car. Fancy putting a Honda in a white Elise???
Cheers
