Ad doesnt really tell you/show you very much other than a lesson in how not to market a car

Roof scoop isn't standard. Would imagine service history is ropey at best!

YK54 is a Leeds plate, which means it was sold new by JCT600 - give them a shout to look for any history

I have a feeling there won't be much...

Roof scoop is from the later 08-09 MY so probably had a new roof fitted. The rear spoiler has be colour coded, should be black for that model year. Not much info in the ad but at that price certainly worth a look. At least HPI check the car and see what comes back. If it has been sat for 2 years then it will likely need a bunch of TLC but still a cheap Exige.

cheers for responses never noticed the roof scoop until it was pointed out but I had noticed the spoiler was colour coded, will hopefully get more information and pictures at the weekend from the owner and will take it from there interested to see what its needing to be made into a very clean car though? haha

thanks again

just done a car check and theres no bad news really, not been stolen/ recovered, involved in a crash only strange thing is that it says the last keeper change was the 30th of july 2013 and the advert for the car says its sat idle for the past 2 years? will wait and speak to the owner at the weekend

Not looked at the ad mate, but gut feeling with an Elise/Exige is that if it's sat for a couple of years is that they are storing lots of potential costs...

Up to you if it's cheap enough to balance against potentially replacing seals and stuff when you do start to use it.

im looking for one with the intention of using it every day to go to and from work (I stay less than a mile away from work) I had a quick scan through the guys recent feedback and discovered in the past year hes bought a few exige parts- electric window switches (x2), boot lid/ engine cover, boot hinges, rear light and a brake clutch master cylinder

To be fair, I live 3.5 miles away from work and have been known to walk it, occasionally run it, and more often cycle it. However have joined the Apex Gym which is 30 seconds from my office, so now driving it a bit more!

Could have been taking a private plate off.

I bought a Scirocco once. Owner took off private plate before sale - but on the paperwork he put his middle initial which wasnt on the log book.....DVLA classed him as a new owner, just because hed added his middle initial to the form...unreal.

find out what the list of job is and you could do pretty well at that sort of price.

I'm sure Craig at MMC would help you get it back roadworthy etc at reasonable money also.
