Did 2 of those in my BM....a total fiasco....the fact they guy refered to it as a race says it all really.
Can't imagine KH would be too proud of the fact that c**t was allowed out for so long!
The guy in the Cateringvan must have been insane!
Suprised that those Evo's went out in amongst the MOT failures

he he... pure madskillz by ra way
I especially like it when they jolt the steering wheel to the left while heading thru the chicane to get the back end to run wide on the exit... pure dead mental man.
Ive always wondered what hot-hatch days are like.
Folk with a deathwish and skills lacking make this a day to be avoided.
Thanks for posting this.

wow!
Now I understand why KH did all the cones business at the beginning of the year......
that really is racing
The Westfield had some huge amount of sparks coming from the nearside rear before it broke and put him off

That is scary stuff. I can't believe that KH do not have a load of serious injurys on their hands. Must surely be a matter of time.
Would be really funny to see all the chav'd up corsas & saxos with their body kits and big wings running into each other

Talk about whacky races!
Just read some of the comments on the video - quite amusing!
You have no idea, you limey c*ckmongrel. I have 4000 track miles behind me in everything from a Formula Ford to a Lotus Elise. I know an assbag driver when I see one, and YOU...are IT.
Right, who in here has 4000 miles track experience!!??

The Mini driver/owner is my sister's boyfriend. He's a regular at the hot hatch and freely admits that the marques days ar far more civilised affairs.
He actually mentioned to me that last time he was down there he was on his way to have a word with the marshals about one lad's driving & before he could get there he'd rolled his car.

fcuk brilliant
I think it's great that Knockhill allow them to do this as long as they make sure that anyone with a decent car, or of a sensitive nature, is made fully aware of the inevitable chaos. Showing any of the above videos should do the trick!
Ned watching is a sport, just leave them to it and don't get involved. When I worked at Realtime Worlds in Dundee, the office was surrounded by the DSS, the court and a drop-in centre. There were so many 'incidents' that we set up a camera (ned cam) in case we missed anything. The above looked like a motorsport version of Ned Cam!

I was up at the hot hatch day last Sunday, (the pics above of the BMW and Corsa are mine), it was just absolute mayhem. There were actually a couple of nice Evos out there (including the yellow Ecosse Evo V that does most of the hot marques/SIDC events) but they were so much faster than the bangers that they were at least slightly less at risk.
At least the BMW had a rollcage, the Corsa didn't - guy was lucky to get away with that, although it wasn't an especially fast accident, he just got out of shape going over the top of Duffus, then fishtailed most of the way down the hill before going backwards into the tyres
Not sure how bothered Knockhill are at the state of some of the cars, one of the Novas was trailing an exhaust for most of the day

Is it just me or are those vid clips gut-churning?
I'm amazed KH allow this when they're so strict with us on SIDC/HM/DN events (which I'm effin' glad of

) - taking into consideration if someone was injured or worse

McKean will do that in a year...
I think it looks like fun, I need a banger with a decent roll cage though...
