2015 goals

Post by campbell » Tue Dec 31, 2013 3:58 pm

I'm not much into "new year resolutions".

But I *do* hold with setting goals. As some may know, that's a big part of my profession as facilitator and coach.

So what's your challenging or even courageous goal for 2014?

Could be home, personal, work, community, whatever.

But step 1 is to write it down and share it.

Then we can review progress later ;-)

So instead of all the HNY nonsense, I thought we might have some fun with this here on SE.

And SMART rules need not apply.

I'll start.

1. Campbell - Deliver at least 50% of Rathmhor client work in 2014 in Scotland or northern England.

The review things a good idea, always need a plan no matter how close it is to a dream. Trouble with me is they never seem to follow the plan.

2. Craig - build my house.
Hairdresser at heart.

1: Return to satisfying and gainful employment
2: Boagster replacement
3: Week long European jaunt with the current Mrs Boag in aforementioned Boagster replacement
4: Multiple Orgasm

P. S we should be setting this up on Allthings and monitoring progress thereafter

I've already created my 2014 goals using Allthings, but that won't surprise many... Here are a few though from said list:-

1. Secure the 200k we need from Scottish Enterprise to match our 200k investment. This will give us the money we need to start ramping things up in 2014 in a big way and keep me busy for next 2 years. Should know by end of Jan!

2. Hopefully by Q4 start the hunt for my next Lotus

3. Have a life again by end of the year

4. Manage a holiday in 2014

5. Be happy that I have a clear work/life divide

6. Continue to go 4/5times a week and enjoy the gym.

Seriously dull for 2014, but an important year!!

Landscape the 'garden' - we bought land at the back of the house 5 years ago and still haven't even fenced it off yet.

Mine's like a broken record - lose weight...and keep it off this time! (cracking big belly on me just now)

Go to the gym more regularly when offshore, and powerwalk with my lovely wife and the dug when home...

Take another progressional step with my career

Eventually get my ar$e into a fun car again

Stop spending vast amounts of dough on my house (it's almost finished thank heavens)

1. Enjoy a quieter 2014. Last year seen me get married and buy a house. Won't need to work all the overtime going.

2. Do a track day in the Lotus. Never done a track day before so will keep an eye out on here for one.

That's it for now.
