Went faster than ever, did have a wee crash doing it in August unfortunately but no long lasting harm done.

Unfortunately not having more fun. Changed jobs in April. Hate my new one and the fact i work away.

Goal for 2016 would be to get back to a job/lifestyle i enjoy, but that's easier said than done.

So I had...

For 2015:

1. Restore balance of client work to 50:50 Scotland:Elsewhere

Nope. Still 70:30.

2. Maintain current average fee rate

Yes. Slightly improved.

3. Max billable days 110

Yes. Around 100.

4. Secure 3 pieces of direct end-client business (#1 is in the bag already)

Nope. 2 only. But 1 is significant and runs into 2017. 3 key meetings teed up for Jan 2016 though.

5. Get from 12st 4 to 11st 5 by big summer hol (14 July).

Yes. 11st 2 on 14 July. And held to 11st 4 as of yesterday.

6. Buy an Evora (stretch goal!)

Yes. Best car ever. Even did Frolic in it.

2016? Needs some thought...stand by.

Be debt free....again.

Well, i have lost over a stone in weight during the year, however my training has been limited to walking, karting, and crazy drink fuelled exercise sessions on Frolic.i did come back from France lighter than when I went, both on the scales , and in the pocket.

and a for the debt free bit, all good, well, apart from an orange thing, but I am not thinking of that as a debt.

For 2016

Be less grumpy

Start training, and actually get fit.

Great start, dropped my iPad and cracked the screen, but fortunately I had fitted a glass plate screen protector, so OK underneath.

!2" Macbook has another three keys that have lost their click. Sent it back once when the P key went, power key went a while ago but did not bother as I never switch it off, this time the A key and the Spacebar which accounts for the number of times I have to edit posts before I send.

They can replace with a new one this time as I believe that it is a common fault since they fitted this new spring system.

nice idea. so my "goals" this year:
1/ Learn Azure, develop something using the tech to make money. Try to gain some income and make into a business.
2/ Get a new home (currently living in a flat I have until April, sold my last house in April 2015)
3/ Get ontop of my health
4/ Get back down to 12st 7
5/ Be happier (measured by less nightmares of work and have a spring in my step in the mornings again)
6/ Get back on my bike (needs #3)
7/ Get back into an enjoyable fun sporty car, ideally with a Lotus badge and no roof (or Evora with panoramic roof, my ideal idea of a car, Lotus make it happen? :D)
8/ Get a Cat/ Dog

40th happened, trackday in evora happened and lazyfoal arrived!

'15 was good but tough. Got promoted the month before lazyfoal and looking back that was a mistake.... Although i couldn't really say no. Work life balance has been ok in terms of me leaving work on time but the stress and pressure of juggling both has been considerable.

December was a bit better and there are changes in Jan / Feb which will initially be harder but will lead to improvements long term.

Don't think I've fcuk up being a dad yet.... But it's the hardest and most satisfying "job" I've ever had.

'16 for me is evolution, not revolution. Need to settle into job and keep my stress under control.

Now this cycling malarkey.......
