Garage build, who can help this weekend?

Post by Uldis » Sat Sep 23, 2006 12:27 pm

I'm halfway with the walls and should be ready for starting with the roof tomorrow and Monday.

Anybody around in the Aberdeen area who has nothing better to do?
I sure could use a hand! (because I have no clue on how it's going to go!)
Stopping tomorrow only for the Moto GP ;)

Excellent! that's one more than before!

Should finish tomorrow with the top of the walls and beginning the roof structure, but wonder if I can take it up myself.

Well, that didn't work out but at least I made some progress over the weekend. Ok, very little as I had to source out some wood that was missing from the kit, and being WE and Aerdeen holiday, wasn't easy.

So, as you can see I'm not getting much Exige-ing because of this, need to have it ready before winter!

Up to the top of the doors is done. From here to Sat I should be finishing the sides and mounting the main doors, so it should be roof beams over the weekend.

Will need a couple of strong guys, even better if they can bring another ladder!

So, if anybody is looking for something hard to work on Sat (yeah, I know, long shot) you are welcome.
(Sunday may be karting for Lisa but I'll see)

maybe......but I'll need to check with the boss. (should really be putting the plasterboard up on the walls in my own garage... I may use as a ploy to recruit SE-ers to help me)

Banchory Devenick, 2.5 miles from Deeside ASDA or about 2 miles from Porthlethen if you come from that side.

Banchory & Banchory Devenick are two different places.

About 16 miles, just on the outskirts of Aberdeen.

Uldis, it'll be a negative from me I'm afraid - as the weather's looking good, I've had an influx of people wanting their cars valeted.
