ok it's official - i love this evora!

Post by ninja » Wed Feb 19, 2014 2:41 pm

no regrets buying this at all - even with the very odd electrical gremlins

it's a lovely car to drive both slow and fast. still surprisingly lotus like in the feel and cornering. LOVE the brakes (which actually work), the finish is every bit as good as my 2009 cayman s but best of all the wife likes it!!

also had the kids in the back and they like it cos they can see out the windows - their heads are practically touching the roof lining tho

can't wait to get it vinyl wrapped

Delighted for you mate. Always good when a plan comes off.

Just a point though, if your brakes in the Exige were gash, there was something wrong - certainly not a characteristic of the car!

Glad you like it :thumbsup

What are you getting wrapped, full, partial, stripes?

Burnt Orange is a stunning colour and I am wondering why you would hide any of it.

Yes, the brakes on the Evora are supposed to be good and I have heard that its the same type on the Exige V6.

Pictures after the wrap please :D

Shhhhhhhhhhh

You're pushing values up. You're meant to say it's sh*t until i get one, THEN push the values up with all the "it's amazing" chat :P
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

Used Evoras seem to be flying out the showrooms at the moment. Better get in there quick :-)

Ah but you don't always get it right G.
You told me residuals in my Focus RS would be terrible. I couldn't buy mine back for what I sold it for two years ago.
However, you would of been right with the C63!

If I was a residuals analyst of such failsafe repute I would be typing this from my hammock in St Lucia....but I'm in Norfolk - which tells its own story
Current tip - don't pay full money for a 4 C...............

That'll be because it's overpriced at list, and market dictates its true value.... :thumbsup

initially just wanting to wrap the roof so it's black and also the ^ on the door sills

re kids - 8 and 6. both within a couple of inch of the roof but remember this is with a booster seat which i think is still mandatory with the lotus. best bit tho is that with the booster seat in the front both can see out the windscreen!

also picking them up from school is a massive hit but i need to turn up earlier so i can park right at the front!!!

very surprised at the quality of finish and also lol that it doesn't leak! frankly it's nice to open the car door without soaking my feet with water that's been trapped between the sill and car door all night cos the window leaked thru the night.

all in all a very impressive end result and every bit as much fun as the exige s was. not quite as head turning but not too far off - think i need to decat it or something......

Are you coming to Murrays on the 2nd of March Chris?
If you are I'll take you for a spin in mine. I think it sounds excellent.
