Audi A5 S Line (NLC)

Post by craigs135s » Fri Mar 14, 2014 10:29 am

Hi all

I am looking for a new daily driver.... A5 is at the top of the list just now... Anyone got one as a daily drive? Any known faults or anything to look out for?

Thanks

I owned an A5 3ltr tdi for several years as my daily driver- excellent car. The only reason i got rid of the a5 was due to having the daughter , so bought the q7 :-) i would buy another a5 with no second thought... Infact keep looking at the RS5!

I never came across any issues while owning the a5 - go for it!

Thanks. Did you find the space in the back ok if you had people in it? I am looking at the coupe.

Thanks

I've also got an A5 S Line but went for the cabriolet and it's a great car. Just about to sell mine but it's a great car with no issues so far :thumbsup

Space in back is fine, the seats are really deep so it weighs out the tight cabins some coupes have. Boot size is also a bonus although restricted with depth due to the coupe boot .

An old mate of mine has one, his oil pump packed in the other week and borked the engine. Something to look out for/change for peace of mind, but not a deal breaker. He seemed to like it other than that

I've got an S5 coupe...

Love it, although it's not exactly economical!

Each to their own - but id have to disagree. Mine had enough torque to pull away comfortable from most things, and there was none of the "diesel" noise that most has. Boring? Well it aint a sportscar , but you dont buy it to be that. :-)
