Me again

Just as well we have t'internet to research a car's history.

Saw this on PH for £15k. V little said about history, 170/190 etc, and its a v late car :thumbsup. Even at 40k miles, it seems a good deal - convert engine after it goes pop:-

did a wee search (as I remembered reading a thread on CELC*CK about late S1 Exiges.... dug a little deeper and found out that before that pic, it looked like:-

emailed the guy out of curiosity to see if he lets me know about the car's 'history'. Given Stevebanks' experience, that's surely a Cat D?

May not be on an Exige, given the higher residuals. Worth a call in any case....

The current owner is the guy who crashed it, so it hasnt been written off, sold and then repaired.

Though anyone would know, as there was a thread on exiges.com about the car and the fact he hadnt mentioned the crash, so most prospective punters will know its been in an accident (and thats maybe why its still for sale?)

the car has seen a few dinks so an hpi check is a must. doubt its cat D tbh.

dont think the guy is very good at replying to emails either!
