Hi

Just want some info.

Finally fibre has come to my area. Bt infinity and EE are available

Just wanted to know if bt are part of the government lock down like virgin are.

Virgin run their own network, cable, to the house and you would be tied to them as they own it 100%. You can also have Virgin through unbundled normal line.

The 'fibre to the cabinet' broadband is a wholesale product and you can use any provider you want. Infinity is just the BT branded version, EE too, but you should have the choice of any provider willing to resell it to you. If you have Sky already then the deal they offer is a no brainer but shop around a bit.
