Sorry to crash this thread, but I see this was 2007(?). I once owned an Elise S2 reg no SK02 KCO in gunmetal grey with a red roof. When I bought it, it had a sticker on it which read TT2007. Having seen Tut Towers mentioned on here, I was wondering if they were one and the same? If so, it was probably an SEers car. I bought it from Braidwood motors in pumpherstone. It was rather rough when I got it and I spent the next couple of years making as nice as I could. It would be great to hear from anyone who might of known the car in its previous life.

It belonged to John MacKenzie in 2007, nickname MacK on here.

That is it in the picture with N3. (reg no of seller)

That must have been the year I followed Iain & Sky on the BMW up Glenshee, she was only 12-13 and was doing no-hands over all the yumps! :)
Might have been mine Mark, I can't remember who parked where when we arrived :D
I think that's yours John. I followed you for the last leg, then ran over to figure out how the hell a basic, unmarked WRX was leaving me for dead. That's when I learned about the STi Spec-D, and that's when I decided I had to have one. :D Mission accomplished there (although still currently in many bits!).

Certainly was Greg, just after we fitted the S/C.

Ricky put the manual tensioner on that was with the kit, but it was out of alignment and chewed up two belts before we realised the problem. I fitted the original auto tensioner and it has still got the belt on from seven years ago, though I carried a spare in the boot. Most seem to have to change them every year or two, but I am probably more sympathetic with my car.

Cool, thanks. Weird seeing it before I had it. I actually sold it a few years ago, well traded it in at Pure Lotus and regretted it ever since. I spent a lot of money on the car as Braidwood had sold it in a pretty poor state. I actually crashed it a few days after getting a full respray and then had to go through the whole repair process inc waiting for clams etc. Still, really enjoyed it and wish I had kept it. Thanks again for the pic.

Been busy with the wedding Alan, so did not see that on SELOC.

Did not realise that luca was buying that one as well, but no problem N3 will dick it without any further work. :D
