Heading to Dans...

Well the Exige is due its 2nd service so where better to take it to than Dans in Newcastle. I've been a loyal customer to the local dealer over the past few years though the service side of things has been far from satisfactory. Genuinely feel sorry for Graeme and the team at sales but at the end of the day, I feel the car will be better looked after else where, and that's all im interested in. I used to believe that paying top dollar meant you received top dollar service, though this doesn't seem to be the case with dealers
So, I'm booked into Dans on Sat for a service.
The money im saving will pay for some Goodridge Hoses and a fluid change, and wot the heck, im flinging a Stage 2 Zost on for good measure
Haven't been so excited about getting a car serviced im ma life........ So much so ive decided to give the Pub a miss on Friday....Well...May have a couple

I'm down next friday for a B service + cambelt, plus gearlinkage kit and short shift kit. No more stirring porage

Was only serviced back in May, still its been fun racking up the miles. Cars are for driving, not put in garages and taken out only to polish.

Was same for me last week. Its less effort to go to Dans than to deal with the potential fallout thay may result "elsewhere"

Well I have to say ive got a huge amount of admiration for Dan down at Newcastle.
Arrived down there at 10 to a friendly and honest welcome. Blathered for 1/2 hour or so about his track car and other projects in the workshop. Gave me a quick lift to the Metro Centre where I spent a few hours taking in a film, some nosh at Wetherspoons and scoping out some local talent. ( place is really hoachin by the way....)
Got a call to be collected at 3 and then back to the workshop.
Had a problem fitting the Goodridge hoses as the front grills was glued in position as opposed to being secured by bolts so this means its a clam off job. Not so fussed as this can bet done at a later date if the clam ever does have to come off.
Service carried to a high standard with advice given about low front brake pads, and stage 2 Zost fitted

Really cant get over how much this has changed the car, sounds like a proper sports car now. Combined with the induction kit, it really does sound the mutts nuts, especially when the cam changes over
Cost was VERY reasonable, Service, Brake Fluid change, supply and fit stage 2 Zost, all for under £600..Absolute bargain.
Dan is a real enthusiast which in my mind makes all the difference.
If Dan was on EBay, he would have 100% feedback and all comments would be AAAAA++++++
Cant recommend his services enough to others and look forward to using his the garage again.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^What he said^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Sorry i missed you greg, slept through my alarm

glad you are liking your new exhaust!
Whilst in newcastle i also had my service done, along with brake fluid change, 2 extra litres of race oil, and my front pads where knackered (dan fitted some used spare ones to get me home)

,
top bloke, top service and all for £193. Will be back!
