Mac Repair in Glasgow Area

Post by Cisco » Tue Jul 22, 2014 2:19 pm

Guys,

Can anyone recommend a computer repair shop in the Glasgow area that is familiar with Macs

My son's Mac Book Pro is starting to behave strangely, wont charge sometimes etc..It is just out of warranty unfortunately.

Thanks in advance,

Frank

Lesley knows a good company. They'll even pick it up.
I'll get details tomorrow and drop you a PM Frank.

Cheers

Kenny

When you say 'just out of warranty' - might be worth taking it to the Apple Store ams seeing if they'll sort it free of charge. If you haven't made any other warranty claims on the machine and it is only a month or two out of warranty, they often sort it as a gesture of goodwill.

They did that on an iPhone that was about 30 days out of warranty and and iMac that was a few months out of warranty for me, when I explained the issues had been ongoing for a while before I brought it in.

Frank, my iMac hard drive packed in and the apple store repaired it free of charge (£200 drive normally), it's a year out of warranty. No idea why or how they did this, but i wasn't complaining.
